Vita Nova was founded by Sebastian Sproch in Cary, Illinois in 2022. Being diagnosed with stage 2 bone cancer, Sebastian lost the ability to accomplish his dream of playing soccer in college. Due to the cancer he had his tibia, knee and half his calf replaced with titanium. He spent almost a full year fighting for his life in the hospital getting treated with chemotherapy. Finally in the summer of 2020 he managed to beat cancer and immediately fell in love with the gym. It started as a passion to look good and be healthy and ended up becoming a lifestyle. For the past year and half, he spent meeting amazing people at the gym and forming lifelong relationships. Realizing that almost everyone who goes to the gym has a story of their own. He decided to start a clothing brand to help connect people around the world. The brand was to be called ‘Vita Nova’ which stands for new beginning or new story in latin because, for many people just like Sebastian, the gym became a new start to their life.
